Project description: This project leads the schematic landscape design for Main & Union, rooted in Black identity, cultural values, and spatial traditions. Centered on a circular gathering space symbolizing unity, the rooftop weaves zones for ceremony, storytelling, gardening, and play. Medicinal and kitchen gardens blend Indigenous, native, and African flora, supporting healing and nourishment, while the Level 2 Zen garden offers quiet retreat. Natural materials and African-inspired paving ground the design culturally and ecologically.
